The beef sold in your store appears somewhat dull in color. Why is that?
Fresh beef by nature is actually a dull brown in color. When it comes into contact with air, however, it begins to oxidize and gradually changes to an attractive red color.
The fact that some of the meat sold by Wadakin is somewhat dull in color should be understood as a testament to its freshness, and that it can be eaten without any concern.
